Cabbage, apple, lemon soup… what are these slimming foods that everyone is talking about? 
Do they allow you to lose weight? To maintain a low weight? Where are they appetite suppressants as some studies claim?
To lose weight, it is necessary to reduce your calorie intake, it is obvious. This is also a subject that I frequently address in all my articles and in the training I offer. 
Losing weight is done in several points:
  • Food, of course, but also 
  • The sleep 
  • Hydration 
  • Relaxation 
  • Sports activity 
I have detailed all of these points in many articles so I will not go into detail on them.
I would also like to add that diet represents around 70% of good weight loss. It's about eating enough (we don't want a low-calorie diet), eating enough nutrients, eating enough, listening to your body, hydrating, but also having fun.
However, due to repeated diets, the stomach and the mind can be upset and unbalanced. The transition is therefore sometimes not as simple as it seems: the stomach is distorted, habits upset, and emotions have taken over common sense. 
So I have put together an article for you, bringing together the foods that help you lose weight, especially at the start of your diet rebalancing or diet. It is the hardest transition phase - phase during which we upset everything and start all over again. 
So we will first see what foods help to lose weight, then second the tips and tricks compared to these or many others.

Do not venture into protein or low calorie diets. It is a waste of time, and an attack on your body. 
It is necessary to organize your diet accordingly, making the right choices, and you adapt to the needs of your body and your daily life. 
Generally, fruits and vegetables are the ultimate slimming food. They are real allies for losing weight, rebalancing the intestinal flora, providing essential nutrients to the body, draining toxins and lightening digestion. 

The fruits 

As for fruits, we can mention in summer watermelon, melon and pineapple. They are indeed the fruits among the lowest in calories compared to 100G. It is important to note, however, that all fruit is good for weight loss. Rich in water and fiber, they hydrate the body, they promote the elimination of fat. They provide more energy and nutrients necessary for the proper functioning of the body, while feeling light throughout the day. Their sweet taste is also a real pleasure for taste buds and cells. 
  • The strawberries. The strawberry is a delicious and very tasty slimming food! Loved by children as well as adults, it therefore poses no concern, it seems to me. Rich in antioxidants and low in calories, strawberries are an effective fat-burning food. With 33 calories per 100 grams, strawberries will not make you fat, and will even help you lose weight. This tasty red fruit will satisfy your desire for sweetness, without making you feel guilty and by bringing you a good number of nutrients contained only in red fruits (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries etc.). 
  • Pineapple. To lose those extra pounds, pineapple is the fruit of choice! Like a whole bunch of fruit anyway ... but since we are talking about classification then here we are. It is important to consume its stem, because it is there that hides an enzyme with a double advantage: bromelain. The latter eats fat and limits the appearance of new adipose tissue, future cellulite. 
  • The melon. Melon is an ideal diet food to eliminate! It is full of minerals (copper, phosphorus, iron, zinc, calcium) known for their laxative properties. The melon therefore improves transit, thus avoiding storage and weight gain. In addition, its richness in potassium is ideal for having a flat stomach! So if you do not know what to eat for dessert, take melon ... With a little herbs (thyme, coriander, parsley and most ideal BASIL ) and lemon ... you will fall out of your chair. 
  • Apples. We do not draw you any more drawing on this ... filling and rich in vitamins, the sensation during its consumption. Carnival of properties, to be consumed without moderation. 
  • Dates. It is a diet and slimming food that does not immediately come to mind: dates. The latter are rich in calories at first, but it is only given their size ... They have a strong energizing and satisfying power. The advantages of dates do not stop there since they also facilitate digestion due to their high content of vitamins. They are finally so sweet, that they bring satisfaction to the head, the body, the taste buds and the body above all. Put some peanut butter on it, and here's a great snack or dessert more than healthy… 

The vegetables 

Salad, broccoli, eggplant, or zucchini are very recommended for weight loss for the low calorie content they contain. They are also loaded with vitamins, minerals, essential nutrients, and fiber. Like fruits, they are rich in water and hydrate the body while promoting the elimination of fat and satiety. 
  • The courgette. Low in calories (around 13 kcal per 100 g), it is rich in potassium, magnesium and vitamins K. Its low sodium content makes it a diuretic food par excellence. To be digested, zucchini requires significant energy expenditure (and therefore "absorbs" more calories, ideal for losing peas). Advantage: it can be eaten both raw and cooked, in a salad or on a plate, in the oven or in a pan, alone or served. Take advantage of it! 
  • Eggplant. Have you ever noticed its ability to absorb fat when it is cooked in a pan? It is therefore obvious to you now, that it acts in the same way in our organism. Rich in pectin, it traps fat and thus helps us eliminate it (provided that it is cooked without fat…). Excellent on the BBQ, in the oven, in the frying pan or in a boat (stuffed with quinoa, onions, curry, etc.). It is to be included in its weekly consumption. 
  • Cabbage .It is not for nothing that it is the staple food of many slimming soups: it is a food with "negative calories". In other words, you are spending more calories by eating it than the calories you are getting! It also burns fat and acts as a diuretic. It is also a huge ally of your microbiota, your stomach and your gut. It helps to restore the intestinal flora, which in the long term participates in the balance of your body and therefore your mood, your emotions and your culinary desires. Fermented, in a pot-au-feu, in a salad, green or white, do not hesitate to reintroduce it into your diet and not to see it only as a slimming food from yet another drastic diet that you would have fallen under the hand. Reconcile yourself urgently with this food, by combining it of course with a whole bunch of other vegetables good for you and your health. Long to digest, it will allow you to keep a feeling of satiety much longer.Tip: eat all the cabbage in the family, and your body will thank you (romanesco cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, etc.). 
Needless to say here once again that all vegetables are good for health and that you should not hesitate to eat them at every meal, varying the mixtures, spices, seasonings. Vegetables should not and should no longer be seen as the number one enemy of adults and children but as the primary ally of good health. 
In barbecue, pan-fried, in salad, raw, summer and winter, get your body and mind used to eating these delicious foods that are waiting for you. 
Pair them with delicious cereals, starchy foods, legumes and even oil seeds: you will be surprised with the result. 
Consume preferably seasonal, organic and local if you can. Your body, your wallet and the

Fat burning foods are too often neglected, despite their effective slimming properties. Very satisfying and rich in protein, they regulate the feeling of hunger and improve transit. I refer you here to an article I previously published. 

Conclusion. 

Here are some basic slimming foods. But what is really important to keep in mind is that there is no weight loss without global rebalancing. It is important to consume everything and in moderate amounts. The body is a magnificent mechanism, which will carry you further than your dreams and higher than your expectations, if you nourish it with what it needs. 
Although some foods are considered slimming for all the properties mentioned above (satiety, fat burner, rich in fiber and other nutrients), the fact remains that all fruits and vegetables are to be eaten and favored over all.
